Eating here is tough!
I've still been eating breakfast in my room for the most part but lunch is ALWAYS ordered in and dinner is always out or from room service. I've been drinking at least 1 drink almost every night and usually I'm having about 3 drinks. I either have wine or a soda and vodka. Usually soda and vodka. This is more than I usually drink but I've been having a really fun time and not getting drunk like everyone else is.
I am on and off feeling really bloated from the food. I actually don't think I've gained much weight. A lot of people are getting the flu. I feel ok so far but definitely not 100%. I leave tomorrow to go home to Chicago and I really hope I don't get sick. I'm only their for a few days and I would be so disappointed if I was sick or snowed in somewhere.
I've found that the best meal for me to order is usually the chicken fajitas. Sometimes they come with rice. They also come with a couple of vegetables thrown in and tortillas. I try to skip the tortillas but sometimes I'm just so hungry. My main goal during the day is not to over eat, eat mainly protein, and limit my carbs. Sometimes this is more difficult then other times. I've gotten to the point where I don't even want to get hungry!
But I LOVE it here and would not change anything. When I come back after Christmas I'll have more of my food that I tried to ship here. Then I can have tuna and crackers in my room at least. I will also be getting a microwave.
I have kept up with my 'New Rules of Lifting for Women' workouts. After going out till 5am and laying at the pool all day I almost skipped one yesterday. But I'm so glad I didn't.
I hope everyone is staying warm out there! I realize most people are probably freezing while I talk about laying out at the pool. It's pretty surreal here right now and I know it's back to reality when I leave Mexico tomorrow.

Joy, you picture makes me jealous :) I'm snowed/iced in in Portland and have been trying to get to Texas for Christmas! Sounds like you're doing really great with the food situation... keep it up and keep enjoying yourself!
just had to come check on you!
I guess you are still away, that stinks about your boxes.
THis is Shari i did the 30 day OBM challenge with you.
I think I am going to do it again for January as i need a kick in the butt from Christmas
It's hard to eat well when you don't have a kitchen. It's all about ingredients that won't need to be purchased in large quantities and stored in the fridge. A slow cooker and a blender can be your best friends...
BODA weight loss
Hi Stephanie
A slow cooker is a great idea. I did not think about that.
I need to get more creative!
Thanks for the comment!
